Muslim PUB? Muslim Can Drink?

Muslim can drink? Of course yes. If not, how are we gonna survive without water? (I mean, drink non-alcohol). Recently, the Kuantan Municipal Council came out with an idea to put a new definition for the word “PUB” in Malaysia.
He wants to make the bar to serve mainly men, play only tradisional (nasyid) religious song, and serve soft drinks. that means, no alcohol at all.
The concept sounds good, but the name itself doesn’t implies it. After all, it’s just a cafe.. Why must we re-branding it to “pub” ? Ain’t Bahasa Malaysia is rich to show that a place is a cafe? Warung, Kedai Kopi, Kopitiam, Teratak, Wakaf, Kantin, Kedai Minum. If that doesn’t sounds good to you, use any other languages; as long as it doesn’t have any links to the alcoholic or negatives thing, why not?
For me, the word Cafe is good enough and still, the cafe can have Nasyid music to be played. Besides, most of the Cafe/restaurants owned by Muslim (here) already have surau(prayer). And if the owner wants to make his/her cafe only accessible to men/women ,the owner can put a sign at the cafe’s entrance. This might sounds a bit sexist, but i don’t see why this is a bad idea.. The problem is only the word PUB..
Definition :
According to the dictionary, Pub refers to ‘place where alcohol are served and drunk’ or
‘A public house, usually known as a pub, is an establishment which serves alcoholic drinks — especially beer — for consumption on the premises, usually in a comfortable setting. Pubs originated in English-speaking countries, particularly in the United Kingdom and Ireland and are now found globally.’
